Cette séquence vise à explorer les fondements philosophiques de l’éducation en mettant en lumière les liens entre la philosophie et les pratiques éducatives. Elle présente les grands domaines de la philosophie (ontologie, épistémologie, axiologie) ainsi que leur rôle dans la construction des savoirs et des valeurs éducatives.

Le cours aborde également la contribution de grands penseurs tels que Platon, Aristote, Rousseau et Kant, chacun apportant une vision spécifique sur les finalités et les méthodes de l’éducation. Enfin, la séquence expose trois grands courants philosophiques ayant influencé l’éducation : l’idéalisme, le réalisme et le pragmatisme, en soulignant leurs principes fondamentaux, leurs objectifs éducatifs et les contenus pédagogiques qui leur sont associés.

Ce module permet ainsi aux étudiants de mieux comprendre comment les conceptions philosophiques influencent les systèmes éducatifs et les choix pédagogiques, en développant une posture réflexive essentielle à toute pratique d’enseignement ou de conception pédagogique.
